Panel 1: Lillan watches as Daisy makes a lasso and swings it over her head.

Panel 2: Daisy’s lasso catches the sparrowfish around its neck. It grabs the rope in its fingers.

Sarah covers her eye and frowns. She says, “Thank you! That was close.”

Panel 3: Daisy hauls on the rope to pull the sparrowfish and the boat over to the shore. Sarah holds the rope so the sparrowfish doesn’t just fall out of the boat. A frog swims around under the surface of the water.

Daisy introduces herself as, “Daisy, farm girl out to save my brothers. And you?”

Sarah replies, “Sarah, kidnapped codex student. Thanks for your help!”

Lillan adds, “I’m Lillan, her brother. Just a basic bitch farm boy, really.”

Panel 4: Daisy slays the sparrowfish with her sword. Sarah watches, holding the rope which is now secured to the rowboat. Lillan gets into the boat.

Sarah says, “That’s take care of that.”

Lillan suggests, “I say we make camp and rest a bit.”
